The Life of Christ

Tell me everything you know for sure about Jesus.  Go ahead...

Can you imagine if one hundred people were asked a question like that?  How many interpretations of 'Jesus' do you think we'd get?  It would make one shudder to hear the responses to be sure.  Here we have literally the most influential man to walk the face of the earth and yet based upon the wide array of beliefs about Him one can be left feeling very lost and confused if they desire to know and understand this man called Christ.

We here at Coram Deo have what we believe is an inspired idea.  Why not go back the original sources (His friends and other eyewitnesses) and study what they have to say?  To be more specific why not...um...read the Bible!  Not only are the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John inspired by God they are also highly regarded by even those outside the Christian faith as incredibly reliable biographies of Jesus which were written by those with firsthand information about what He actually said and did.

Given all of that Coram Deo has decided to take all four of these books (known as the Four Gospels) and place them into one large chronological account of the life of Christ.  Each week Pastor Gary will pick up the ball and run it a bit further in the life of Christ.  The kids in Coram Deo Kids will also learn about the particular passage in a way that makes sense to kids in order for both parents and their kids to be able to discuss what they learned on Sunday!  Each Lifegroup (including Pierced) will discuss the message most recently preached on Sunday which a great way to slow down, ask questions and enjoy a healthy discussion!
